Regulatory and Registry Data Submission
Hospitals are increasingly being required to submit quarterly reports to state and national review board registries detailing the outcomes of many of their high-risk treatments. The purpose of these review boards is to make sure that clinics are consistently providing safe treatment. Institutions and individuals that fail to meet minimal expected performance benchmarks are open to panel review, public censure, suspension of license or worse.
